It's a nice day for a white wedding...

I made these for a friend of a friend's wedding... it's been a long time since I've made some sock monkeys, or blogged about it. With 3 kids, there isn't much time for anything... especially sock monkeys. But, one of the best things about these sock monkeys is that while I was making them, I kept hearing Billy Idol's "White Wedding" and The Magnetic Fields "Punk Love" in my head... clearly these sock monkeys will have a life time of wedded bliss. Hopefully I'll get to make some sock monkeys again soon... in the immortal words of Billy Idol... "it's a nice day to ..... start again!"

busy little monkeys

I just finished an order for 24 monkeys! Hooray!! I also saw Kristen Rask this weekend while I was picking up a lovely Sewdorky donut and got to talk to her about Plush You II. It all sounds so exciting, and I don't know if I can wait til October... My mind is racing with ideas, and I have to figure out a way to kick it up a notch with these monkeys! Its going to be a fantastic show, and I feel so lucky to be a part of it. Holla!
